Resin Rescue Clarity Restoring Additive

resinRESCUE is not a dye or pigment. Unlike standard resin pigments that simply mask yellowing with an opaque colour, resinRESCUE is a clarity-restoring additive engineered specifically to reverse the yellowing that naturally occurs in Epoxy Hardeners over time.

Added directly to your Hardener, resinRESCUE corrects the yellowish tint while preserving the full transparency essential for crystal-clear resin coatings, restoring optical clarity rather than simply hiding it.

Formulated from a generic resin raw material, resinRESCUE is fully compatible with all brands of Epoxy Hardener, making it a universal solution for any yellowed stock.

Beyond colour correction, resinRESCUE includes a built-in surface brightener for a cleaner, more vibrant finish and actively retards further optical degradation to extend the working life of your Hardener.

Once treated, we recommend using your Hardener within 60 days for best results.

Used for & How to use

The additive is extremely strong, only 0.5%-1% addition rate is required.

Shake the bottle well before use.

Add 2-3 droplets per 100ml of hardener, stir or shake well until uniformly dispersed.

The colour remedy happens immediately, if it’s not to the desired effect then keep adding a few droplets at a time.

In mild to medium yellowed hardeners the resulting clarity will have a slight blue / violet hue.

The more yellow the hardener, the more greenish the end result will be.

Excess addition of the additive will not affect curing performance of the Hardener.
